Gloria Ferris, Community Organization Consultant and Contractor, and Advisory Director, The Institute for Open Economic Networks (I-Open)
Gloria is an alumnus of Bowling Green State University, in Bowling Green, Ohio, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Education, English, and Library and Educational Services. Gloria seeks to change the way that civic and social networking organizations in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio work together: "Right now, we have a hierarchical (top-down) model in place. We need to change this way of working together to more of a moving network of bubbles that come together on a project to project basis. If we change the way we interact with each other, we will be able to achieve much more in a more concentrated amount of time allowing us all to move forward and prosper. I dedicate my life to putting this theory into practice in my community."
